When Glasgow Light Opera Club (GLOC) asked me to photograph the behind-the-scenes action of their Footloose production at the King's Theatre in Glasgow, I jumped at the chance. Having worked with some of the cast before and knowing the energy of this iconic venue, we knew it was going to be so much fun!
Capturing the performance from the wings is always exciting, timing each shot with the rhythm of the show and making the most of the dramatic stage lighting. For me though the real highlight is backstage, catching those candid moments of focus, excitement, and pure joy that bring the production to life.
